Amanda is a certified nurse practitioner serving in a gerontology clinic and also representing Law ElderLaw. The Spanish word, Chispa, literally means the spark. Amanda has Chispa. She is lively, fun and Harvard- smart. She brings the firm a unique point of view that allows us to serve our clients better. Her on-going experience with the medical issues of the elderly and their families reminds us that our clients need more from us than just well-crafted legal documents. Our clients are people who are dealing with the complex issues that include the emotional, physical, financial, and legal.

Amanda is especially concerned with the physical and psychological cost on the stay-at-home full-time caregivers who carry the burden of a frail incapacitated loved one. She advocates that we see our client’s concerns and needs in a holistic manner, so that we can better serve our clients. We must strive to give our client’s a lifeline and a connection to other senior community services. Peace of mind is one of life’s most underestimated assets, and Amanda is dedicated to help our clients regain that cherished state of being.

Her background gives her insight into how to work with multidisciplinary teams and to provide the best care outcomes for both clients and their families. As a nurse practitioner, her work focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and acute and chronic medical problems of the geriatric population. She sees her calling to be a strong patient/client advocate addressing the complete person; emotional, social, physical, and spiritual.
