Martha Cooper, Client Services
"I'm not where I need to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be."
— Joyce Meyer
"Whatever you are, be a good one."
— Abraham Lincoln
Martha is a living example of our law firm motto, which is "Compassion, Comfort, and Care." She is a young woman who has experienced the pain of seeing people that she loves become crushed by long-term pain and the aging process. She has had to draw on her personal faith and inner strength to "become more compassionate and more conscious of people's suffering... The only thing I can do is to strive daily to become the person that I need to be-and then maybe one day I'll wake up and I will have become her."
She really enjoys singing, watching moves, and hanging out with her friends. But her biggest joy in life right now is her niece Madelyn. Many Saturdays are classified as "special" days together. Whether it's just hanging out and being silly or going somewhere special like the zoo. Away from work you can find Martha reading, fishing or traveling. Her favorite travel spots are warm beaches, northern Minnesota (fishing), or anywhere new and exciting.
Martha welcomes our prospects and clients as they enter Law ElderLaw. It's her job to "lighten the burden" of people who come to our office with the issues of long-term care and disability. Her ready smile and sparkling personality, coupled with a servant's heart, make her the ideal person to greet our clients and our visitors.
