Shawn serves Law ElderLaw and our community as a key member of our welcome team. It's Shawn's job to communicate his smile, warmth, and care to everyone. This job fits Shawn, as he is truly dedicated to sharing comfort and compassion to everyone.

Shawn has interests that range from playing guitar to serving on Christian mission teams to Haiti. His time with Haitian people has left an indelible and life-changing impression on him. He is a Christ-follower and is dedicated to using his personal talents and blessings as tools to help others.

Some of his favorite things are wine ("My favorite is Pinot Grigio-not that classy but a great taste nonetheless"), sports ("My favorite is tennis at the moment"), and the arts ("My likes are wide-from independent movies to paintings, music, dancing, sculpture, and writing"). As a New York state native, one thing that bugs him is "the twelve months of winter in upstate New York!"

Shawn also enjoys travel-particularly such diverse destinations as Port Au Prince, Haiti; Montreal, Quebec; and Seattle, Washington, where he spent time as a youth pastor.

His current passion is directing a new start-up teen worship band at his church. He says, "I started playing the guitar when I was twelve, and that began a love affair with music in almost every genre." Christian ministry is a way of life for Shawn, and he says, "I enjoy being able to meet people's needs as God meets mine, and watching what he can do in others' lives." Shawn also feels very at home in the outdoors, and has a fascination with nature and "how God masterfully and artistically created all that we see." He finds fishing to be a very relaxing pastime.

Law ElderLaw is grateful to have Shawn as a key player on our team.
