Meet Our Team

Susan Wallin Mosey

Administrator

“Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”Susan Wallin Mosey, Administrator, LawElderLaw - Medicaid Crisis Lawyers
  — Abraham Lincoln

Sue is our wonder woman with forms and all of those other projects that look polished when they are done, but no one else has the patience to do them! She dedicates herself to making the rest of us look great; excellence is her hallmark for everything. A former elementary school teacher, Sue helps us create handouts for our clients, forms for office use, and simple props to improve our public seminars.

As our administrator, she also pays the bills and prepares the payroll—and she is quick to lend anyone a hand to help them finish a project, organize their workspace, or meet a deadline.

Despite her creativity, she will often comment about some new procedure or electronic gizmo by saying, “I hate change!” Nonetheless she adapts quickly and has served as Rick Law’s personal assistant for nearly seven years. Mr. Law loves change and new electronic gizmos, so he often states that he and Sue combined “make one complete person.” They have a great and productive working relationship and friendship.

When Sue is not in the office, you may find her with her beloved grand-niece, Beyonce. She calls Beyonce her “Saturday daughter.” Aurora, Illinois was Sue’s home all of her life until her recent marriage, but now she and new husband Gary make their home in nearby Yorkville—a place that Gary considers “the big city” and Sue considers “the boondocks”! Sue has been a dedicated volunteer at First Presbyterian Church of Aurora for many years and served as an elder there, but she feels her biggest contribution was the extensive research she has done in her role as church historian.

Sue’s other interests outside of work include travel, gardening, reading, scrapbooking, home decorating, exercise, and playing on the computer.

Sue states that the life experiences that have marked her include a series of low points when she lost her father, ended her teaching career, had a cancer scare, and experienced both clinical depression and obesity—her “time in the desert.” Now she is a vital part of our service team and she is 76 pounds lighter, happily married, and glowing with health. She is an inspiration to all of us.
